If you have a crockpot this is one of the easiest recipes ever! It's a great source of calcium and other minerals, etc. It can be used to make homemade soups and stews OR just heat a cup on a chilly day and sip it! Yum!

Nice recipe Megan! Have you tested this recipe out? I like my red meat but I do have to say a bone broth scares me slightly. At least it scares me enough that I don't think I would make it at home for myself, on the other hand if somebody had some made, I would definitely try it out. I love the background layout of your blog with that nice piece of meat being displayed in the background. Not too surprising to find out that your recipe is good for bone health, our digestive system is the new osteoclast. Looking forward to keeping updated on my dietary protein needs from your blog.
ReplyDeleteMichelle- yes I have used it both for sipping/drinking as well as in soups and stews. It turned out really good! Unfortunately it only lasts for about a week in the refrigerator. If you don't plan on using it all quickly you have to freeze part of it, then it stays good in the freezer for a couple months.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, great comments and questions. Megan, it's great to see you give such a quick response!
